How does knowing that God wants us to ask help us when we come to Him?

I remember at one point we was struggling financially, I have a hard time asking in prayer for this, because I feel that we are blessed and many other people need that more than me. I was just thinking of how we can manage and God said to me, you have never asked. So I knew all he was wanting was for me to ask in prayer for what we needed, and he did ans my prayers.

That He cares and that my ‘asking’ no matter how how small the request is important to Him.

That we can come as we are and ask Him for what’s in His Will. There is nothing that God can’t handle. So big or small God will always listen to our prayers.

It makes us more comfortable approaching him. He wants to hear from us and he wants us to ask for all things. Nothing is too big or too small to talk to God about.

We can com to him in our imperfection. We can come to Him has we are, hurting, lost lonely as ourselves
