How does knowing that God wants us to ask help us when we come to Him?

The knowledge that my Heavenly Father deeply desires my dependence on Him makes me wonder why would I ever NOT pray? When I call on Him, He responds with undivided attention to every word I utter as well as to those words deep in my heart. And when He’s ready to answers, He invites me into deeper fellowship with Him when He shares “great and hidden” things with…me. Wow!

There is nothing too big or too small that God will not so for us.

The holy scripture gives a lot of verses expressing God’s desire for us to come asking, seeking, and knocking. We know He will give us what we need.

It gives us the confidence that He would listen to us and we can pray boldly, telling Him exactly what’s in our hearts.

We ask, confident in his goodness and love. Touched by his love, we desire to love him also, and express this in our prayer. When we pray out of love for God, we will ask what he desires and he will grant our request.
