How does knowing that God wants us to ask help us when we come to Him?

It helps because it is an invitation given to me by Him.

We don’t need to be intimidated or timid about asking Him, because we know that’s what He WANTS us to do.

We know He already know what we want or have need of and as a good Father He wants us to ask the only one who can answer these requests. It’s a matter of trust and respect.

By knowing what God wants us to ask is like prayer or praying according to his will.

It is easy to be waylaid by the enemy into thinking that God is too busy to answer our prayers than we should not bother Him. Also the enemy likes to try to get us discouraged in asking God for answers to the various situations we face because maybe God didn’t answer our prayer in the way that we wanted.
