The Holy Spirit is as much God as the Son is. The Holy Spirit is the comforter Jesus promised to send us. Jesus said it would be better for us after we receive this Holy Spirit. When we accept Jesus as our savior, we receive the Holy Spirit who will help and guide us upon The Way. He will lead us in transforming our was to become more and more like Jesus’s ways. Also, when we speak of the Lord Jesus, and we rely upon the Holy Spirit, he will lead us as we witnes of the glorious gospel we are led to spread.

The Holy Spirit is that part of us which makes us perfect in Christ. The Helper came after the Messiah ascended back to Heaven. He (the Holy Spirit) is here to help all believers across the threshold of salvation. After we have received salvation, the Holy Spirit becomes a permanent part of us, not just God’s helper or active force but the restored part of us that was taken from us in the Garden of Eden. The curse of sin and death is then lifted up and broken, and we will be with the Lord forever.

He’s your comforter, who reveals things that God wants us to know.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinity of God. He is the Comforter that Jesus promised in John 16:7 to send to his believers when He went away. The Holy Spirit is with me at all times. So, He is my “conscience” of sorts. Thus, He affects all aspects of my daily life, especially my thoughts and prayer life.
