Yes definitely. I sadly think it is unavoidable to not deal with unfair treatment in a fallen world.

Frankly speaking, sin is in the world because of fallen man. How can we act in love, kindness, and fairness, when our minds are debased from the result of sin. Because God still gives freedom to humanity, many do what they think is right in their own minds, even if it’s unfair to someone else.

We are a fallen people who have the ability to choose and we oftentimes choose poorly that results in terrible consequences.

We live in a world where human beings are given the authority to run and operate in the world. Human beings are fallen and broken people. Therefore, the people with authority are bound to make decisions to benefit themselves and their environment.

In researching better ways to answer the dilemma of “thats not fair” with my children I have recently discovered a lesson I prefer over “life is not fair”. Being fair can be defined as “conforming to the rules”. I think everyone experiences unfair treatment, because the human nature drives people to not follow the rules. “Moral evil” is a factor, in which people often seek things that benefit themselves opposed to following the rules.
