In my region of the Pacific Northwest corner of the US, each of these examples are around me. I grew up in the catholic faith, and when I gave my life to Christ, my eyes were opened to true faith. I have been in many churches over the years, and consider any bible believing church a true joy. I consider these different church denominations to be true, yet identifying to Christs disciples in different ways. As long as the whole bible is preached, then I find acceptance.

I live in the United States. More specifically, in the Bible belt. So, I have encountered Calvinism. Protestantism is prevalent here. This religious-political history helps to somewhat explain why there are so many different denominations here. There are literally churches on every corner and often in between. Each has a different way of doing things and differing beliefs. Some are the result of splits (for numerous reasons), others are more based on racial preferences or differences in the personal expression of faith.
