How does your biblical worldview currently influence your role as a Christian educator?

Although I do not teach in a Christian school, my biblical worldview indluences my role as a educator in the way I value each student and their families, the way I treat co-workers even when they do not treat me well, and with the values I uphold in my classroom. I know it does not seem to be as profitable as the influence I could have in a Christian school, but I pray it makes a difference. It is where God has me right now and I am tryign to live for Him and affect those in my sphere of influence.

My worldview influences all I do as an educator. The Bible influences how I teach history, how I counsel students, and how I interact with them.

I teach in a secular setting. My biblical worldview influences my relationship and interactions with students and colleagues both in and outside of the classroom: what I talk about and how; the types of resources that I present or use; how I interact in challenging situations. I am actively seeking God’s will in the current setting that He has placed me in.

My biblical worldview encompasses every area I teach in my classroom and in life! I use God’s Word as my foundation for why I do what I do each day.

My biblical worldview influences my role as a Christian educator, because I make an effort to integrate scripture and Biblical perspectives into each lesson. Especially, as a science teacher I am able to find ways relating a biblical worldview into our studies involving Geology, Chemistry and Biology.
