The way I teach and the content I teach is based on Biblical truth. I will not teach or encourage any behavior that goes against the word of God.

A biblical worldview will affect everything you say and do. You put education in its proper place. You realize the importance of that student, not as a name on a roster but as a person Christ died for. They can be extremely frustrating but so could I before I knew Christ. We think of Ephesians 2 and remember every person who is dead will not choose to glorify God, but we give them boundaries and grace and pray God will break through one day. We continue to teach truth and wait for God do harvest the fruit in His time.

It affects why I teach, how and what I teach, and how I interact with the students I teach. It’s my goal to infuse Christ into my teaching (and the conversations I have with my students, both inside and outside of school) whenever I can.

In influences my interactions with my students and colleagues, how I handle situations, the what and why I teach. It shapes my entire lifestyle.

Having spent years in a public school setting, I believe my Biblical worldview influenced the way I approached students and handled this that came up during the day. Having transitioned into a Christian school, this continues but now I can speak about the WHO behind my thoughts and actions.
