My current biblical worldview is influencing my role as an educator because I make sure to stay in the word, memorize the bible verses that I’m expecting my students to memorize, and just knowing God’s story is our history. It teaches us how to live life.

We can apply aspects of a biblical worldview to how we teach our subjects and to our behavior as teacher role models. The fact that God created the heavens and the earth informs how I teach the origin of life. Knowing that Adam’s sin caused all mankind to be born into sin gives me a realistic expectation that my students are sinners and I shouldn’t be surprised when they sin. Experiencing new spiritual birth in Christ gives me hope that my students also can be transformed by Christ’s love. Being filled with the Holy Spirit gives me the power to bear fruit of the Spirit even toward difficult students. Confident in the soon return of Christ, I can encourage my students that all will be made right and injustice will be punished and destroyed. A biblical worldview is the strong framework around which we can build educated and godly students.

My Biblical worldview currently influence my role as a Christian educator because they cannot be separated; they are one and the same, just as the Word of God does not contradict or correct itself- everything I teach/educate others must be holistically/wholistically instructed. My faith in Jesus Christ is my shapes my perspective on life, which is based upon by belief in the Bible.

My biblical worldview challenges me to know, study, and memorize the Scripture. As a teacher, I am influencing the next generation. A biblical worldview emphasizes what history is all about — God’s story.

It is humbling how students look up to their teachers and just how powerful an influence they are in their students’ lives. When I hear students emulating my mannerisms, words, actions, it is always a powerful moment. I realize that I wield such power in the time that I have them, and it is important to be rooted in a biblical worldview!
