How does your biblical worldview currently influence your role as a Christian educator?

My biblical worldview influences all aspects of my life. It shows in the way I interact with students, neighbors, checkout lady, etc… If I am not living out my worldview, then I am a hypocrite. The best example we can give our students is showing them that we live out what we teach.

My biblical worldview is the lens through which I do everything. That being said, it influences everything I do as an educator from how I teach to how I interact with staff and students.

My biblical worldview currently influences students When my life reflects Christ in it. Not just on Sunday or when I’m at church but in all that I do. Being able to share scripture, going the extra mile to teach them how to apply scripture to their daily lives.

A biblical worldview provides the perspective that determines my approach to content in the classroom, including text selection, essential questions, and teaching strategies. Explicit instruction about how worldview influences interpretation is an important part of the curriculum.
