It serves me as glasses or filter. iIt reminds me that more often than not, misbehavior is a symptom of something deeper. Your actions portray what we truly believe so through my actions I try to portray Jesus and through my students actions I try to remember to give grace but still correct.

What I pour into me is what pours out. So, I choose to pour in The Word, so that it pours out.

By trying to see everything as a big picture, instead of putting them compartmentalize in certain boxes as it fits me and living my life as a living testimony.

My biblical worldview influences every single aspect of my life. I have found myself using every curriculum opportunity I can find to teach life lessons, which of course all point back to God. As an English teacher, I love having a variety of literature at my disposal. Literature brings up what the world likes to refer to the “gray areas” of life. I like to explore these supposed moral quandaries with my students to see where they are at with these difficult topics. I then point them back to Scripture. This is helpful because we need to see how the world influences our morality. That is the only way we can understand the necessity of Scripture in our daily lives.

If you don’t know the Bible and its principles, how can you share it with your students? We must have it in our hearts so that our words sew a seed into the heart of each one of our students.
