I believe teaching the rules and setting the expectations will support an effective learning environment. Encompassing the Fruits of the Spirit in my classroom will also strengthen the environment. In addition to our fallen nature impacting my classroom is a loss of social skills and manners that may have become enhanced due to school shut downs.

When we discuss difficult topics in my course, we always come back to the fact that we live in a fallen, evil world. This is why bad things occur and why even the most horrifying acts of evil should not surprise us.

I pray that my classroom is bathed in grace and truth, knowing redemptions is available in any situation as we submit to God’s ways.
