As a second-grade teacher, I understand that my students’ misbehaviors and struggles often stem from their fallen nature. This realization leads me to offer grace, patience, and guidance, just as God provides for us. I incorporate biblical teachings and principles into our lessons to help students grasp God’s love and redemption. Above all, I pray and fast for my students and the staff who work with them, seeking the grace to effectively model and teach according to God’s ways. By recognizing their fallen nature, I can better support my students’ spiritual and academic growth.

I used stories relevant to the nature of the offence committed form the bible and discuss the repercussion and the way forward with the student.

I need to understand that mistakes will happen and behaviors will not be perfect. With the correct discipline and accountability though, God will help me manage all situations that arise.

None of us are perfect, and God offers His love, grace, and mercy to all. Our purpose is to honor God, and to share the gospel with others. This impacts my work in the classroom by remembering that neither my students nor I are perfect, we all make mistakes, and we all need God’s forgiveness. I apologize and ask for forgiveness from both my students and God when I mess up. Then, I try to make a better choice next time. I encourage my students to do the same.

That I should not be hash with them but show compassion that I am not perfect.
