It’s a reminder to be tender with them, and to guide them in the right direction…. pointing them to a given set of rules. As a teacher I am humbled and recognize that I am fallen just like my students. This leads me to seek forgiveness when applicable and to admit my wrongs. When it comes to my students it helps frame my discipline policy and develop my end goal of discipline, which is restoring the student back to the classroom and with their classmates.
