How does your understanding of mankind’s fallen nature impact your work in the classroom?

It impacts the work in the classroom because it is a good reminder that we are not perfect. We all sin and we all make mistakes. We need to realize this and own our mistakes in order to move forward.

We are constantly doing, saying. thinking from that fallen nature; that is why Jesus has to be center of our life and classroom and help students understand that.

Mankind’s fallen nature reminds me that all my students deserve love and grace. Any opportunity to demonstrate love and grace along with life lessons, is a win.

We should expect that students will have a fallen nature in the classroom and therefore not be shocked or harsh. We should have plans in place for how to correct the fallen nature

I am not surprised when students don’t measure up to the standard. There are still rules, but there is a time for grace as well. I’m not shocked and gravely disappointed in a student if they try to lie to me. There are still repercussions, but it’s not a fall from favor.
