How is aspiring toward perfection, as defined in this course, different from trying to be better, purer, wiser, or more loving?

Aspiring toward perfection I believe is leaving the past behind Uganda reaching forward to what God has to offer. Trying to be better worldly things is obtained through our power but aspiring toward perfection is letting God guide us and using his strength.

All of those things come to be as we walk with God; without God it’s never really possible to be better, purer, wiser..

I think it differs because we are now including God which will in turn create a beautiful union.

A lot of times, the more I try in my own strength, the more I mess up. To aspire towards perfection to me would be seeking and submitting to Gods will, and letting him do what only He can do.

For me it is different in the same way chalk and cheese are different! One is based on my effort, and at best can only reform behaviour by complying with an albeit good vision. The other depends upon the Transforming Grace of God, and is more about growing into the God says I am according to His Word. It is about becoming who we are in Christ.
