Aspiring toward perfection will produce those qualities but it comes from pursuing Christ and allowing His Spirit to lead us in the ways that He wants us to go.

Aspiring toward perfection is something we cannot do on our own. We must have a closer relationship with Christ, be in union with Him in order to achieve this.

This course description is better because I can understand and see the practical nature of what is expected of me by God. I can even confirm it by looking back to times in my life when I was really growing in Christ. It wasn’t me striving, it was me just living and enjoying God and thinking about His Word and trying to apply it in my life more everyday.

Perfection is a ‘state of being’ of having the shalom peace of God in the midst of a trying world. It is not a strive to do better, to be purer morally, to be wiser, more loving – these are outcome when one is drawn into the shalom peace of God – the complete work of Jesus sits deeply in us.
