I love using the Romans Road because Paul highlights a few times that we fall short and while we were still sinner, Christ died for us. The coolest thing about Romans is that Paul is writing this letter to SAINTS in Rome. It’s a great reminder that as we share the Gospel with someone else, we also need to be listening and responding. FCA uses a template called “The FOUR” which breaks the Gospel down to 1. God loves you, 2. Sin separates you 3. Jesus rescues you 4. Will you trust Jesus?

I will intertwine both of these approaches because the FOUR clarifies and simplifies in what order you can use Romans road to share the Gospel.

The Romans Road gives easy to read Bible backed scripture to help explain How to become closer to God and how Jesus died for our sins.

I appreciate that the Romans Road simply stays in the book of Romans so it’s a book you can begin to go through with the individual. It’s a book on theology. I’ve used other Gospel presentations like God, Man, Christ, Response. As long as they point to our need for Christ and not anything else.

The Romans Road is a simple approach because it meets people where they are. There is no big concept in following Jesus, just 4 steps and living your life for him.
