Perhaps the simplest approach I’ve seen is the FOUR from FCA. The FOUR uses four different symbols – A heart, a division symbol, a cross, and a question mark – to share the Gospel.
Heart – God loves you and created you.
Division sign – Our sin has separated us from God.
Cross – God sent his song Jesus to restore us back to Him.
Question mark – How will you respond? The reason this can be a simpler method is because it crosses language barriers and can introduce the Gospel to nations, tribes, and tongues that may not have a copy of the book of Romans (or any amount of the Bible) in their heart language. In many (not all) cultures, the symbols are easy to understand and carry some sort of known connotation.

It cover topic of mankind’s sins, consequences of Sin, how sin is dealt with, God’s love and offer of salvation through death of Christ, his resurrection, our repentance and confession to call upon him, and God’s assurance of eternal life through Christ. It is similar to four spiritual law methodology.

Also, since the verses are close together, it is time-efficient to show them in Scripture what the Bible says about salvation. It is simpler than some, but not as simple and repeatable as others that I have used.

Romans is like a mini theology textbook for the Bible so it’s fitting for it to be from Romans. It’s not as simple necessarily as “The Four” which pulls four emoji symbols as telling the story of God for people personally. In a visual and short attention span culture, The Four has been simple, Christ-centered, and significant.
