How is the word “infuse” related to biblical integration?

Infuse is related to biblical integration because the word infuse means to “fill; pervade”. Just as the Lord fills our hearts, our hearts in Christ should spread through everything we teach. We should integrate the Bible into everything we teach since the Bible is written on each of our hearts.

When I think of infuse, I think of something mixing in with something else and becoming one. The Bible should be mixed and become one with the curriculum that we teach.

When we are having Biblical integration in our classrooms, it doesn’t mean that we start our course with a quick prayer or throw a Bible verse in the middle of the lesson, but we actually infuse our teaching with our Christian Faith, principles, and beliefs. They should come out so naturally, that we can’t separate the ideas, they are infused.

Infuse means that the word of God should be integrated in everything we teach. It cannot or should not be separate. We should be able to see, hear, it, and feel it.

Infuse means teaching God’s word is not set apart from curriculum but it a piece that makes up the curriculum.
