How is the word “infuse” related to biblical integration?

I looked up the word “infuse” and one of the definitions was to soak, like a tea bag. The speaker said that slapping in a Bible verse or saying a prayer before or after a course was not Biblical integration. I liked the example that she gave about her grandson being part Persian and how the word infuse came to her. I want all my lessons to have God’s Word in them. I want my students to have a transformed vision and renewed mind when they “soak” in God through what I am teaching.

“Infuse” means that the Bible should not be separate from the curriculum being taught, but infused throughout. That it is saturated throughout the content.

I think the word infuse is related to biblical integration as everything we do is because of God and what scripture has already stated. We as teachers need to find, tell, and show the students what they are and identify this as being infused, blended in and never coming out. I really like the use of the word “infuse” when it comes to biblical integration.

The word “infuse” goes deeper than just integration. The goal is that, as Christian educators, we not only integrate Biblical Truth into our teachings, but our lessons are so infused with God’s Word that you can’t separate the “Bible” part from the “Subject” part. The goal is to have our lessons so infused with Biblical teachings that without the Biblical teachings there wouldn’t be a lesson left.

Biblical integration has to be infused so it can not be separated from the whole. It has to be an integral part.
