Infuse means to completely become one – it is not just a mixing where you can still see the separations. It is a permanent blending of curriculum and Scripture that cannot be separated.

To infuse a is to weave in all aspects of Christianity into the classroom with prayer, reading God’s word, and engaging in stimulating conversations so that we can incorporate biblical integration. There is no one part that should be separated from the other because the Holy Spirit is woven in all aspects of biblical integration.

To infuse makes me think of giving an essence into the whole. Instead of working in one or two pieces of a Biblical worldview into a few lessons, infusing biblical understandings come from a place where the entire day is filled with a sense of Christ in the class, filled with prayer, filled with Bible verses rather than just a few things sprinkled in.

The word infuse is related to biblical integration, because we want our teaching to be infused with our biblical teaching. We want to make it so that you can’t pull our teaching apart without seeing our biblical faith. It is intertwined to the deepest point. You can’t stop yourself from seeing God in your teaching.

To me, infused is like breathed into. It is all mixed together and can’t be separated easily. Maybe like a cake batter with everything mixed together and can’t be separated.
