In Islam, God is transcendent, but not immanent – Muslims believe that God is not knowable and that His ways are above our understanding. However, the Judeo-Christian God is both transcendent and immanent.

I believe that God is known in Islam but He is distant. In Christianity, God has a personal relationship with his believers through Jesus Christ.

God is not able to be known in Islam, whereas in Judaism and Christianity, He actually wants to be known, even though man can never fully comprehend and known him.

In Islam God is not knowable. He is too great and powerful for human understanding. In the Judeo-Christian faith, God is a loving Father whom we can have a personal one to one relationship with.

The God of Islam is a personal God but He does not apparently provide a clear path to salvation. His seems capricious. The God of the Judeo-Christian faith provides a clear path to salvation and the promise of the reward of heaven for belief in Him and forgiveness of our sins.
