How might what you learned in this lecture change how you read Scripture?

The idea of each paragraph teaching about Jesus is good, yes we do learn of the other players in this story as the speaker said, but they do poi not us back to Jesus. The OT does explain a lot of the character of Jesus as well.

I learn to read it according to its themes, and not necessarily chronologically. If every passage is a “gospel”, a story of Jesus, I can break it up as such during devotional times and ask what story each passage tells.
