Deleted User07/10/2022 at 23:02Teaching international students is challenging because of their comprehension level. I increasingly prepare lessons to encourage English literacy. For example, after reading a passage, students must answer questions designed for them to think critically, instead of just checking boxes. To incorporate the process/mastery method, I can offer students the ability to “test through” a topic. It’s possible they had already learned the material in their previous school.

Deleted User07/08/2022 at 11:06I want everything that I teach/share with students to come from a biblical worldview. Intentionally incorporating scripture in to every meeting with a student and sharing what the Word says about whatever situation comes my way.

Deleted User07/08/2022 at 10:32I need to continue to incorporate all ways of teaching a subject into my lessons. See the curriculum as the base from where I begin and always base it all from Scripture.

Deleted User07/05/2022 at 14:06As we teach through standards we need to keep a healthy balance and perspective on our true objectives. While it is important to teach through the standards and make sure students are mastering needed material, we cannot lose sight of the primary objective- teaching them how to critically integrate a Biblical worldview into all of life and curriculum.
