As a 2nd-grade teacher, I plan to intentionally incorporate biblical principles and values into my daily lessons. I will use opportunities in reading, writing, and science to guide my students toward understanding God and His Word. Additionally, I strive to create a classroom environment that reflects God’s love and care, where students feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow in their faith. By doing this, I hope to help my students develop a strong foundation in their Christian faith and cultivate a love for learning that honors God.

It helps to understand the need to pay attention comparison in planning and teaching.

I might educate the students on how the Pilgrims expanded the idea of education to everyone so that we might all be able to read the Bible – no matter our gender. I think it’s a great lesson to teach. It allowed everyone to learn the lessons of God and be able to pass that down to their children.

That my curriculum should be around God’s word and my content and assessments should be specific.

I can keep in the back of my mind that I support parents who want their children to read and understand the Bible and grow in their faith. Together teachers and parents help raise up young people to follow God’s path.
