If a person is interesting in knowing about God, the only way the can get a good understanding on who God really is, is by reading for themselves. The goal to learning to read is to learn to read the word of God.

In my classroom, I find it important to help each student master the set standard. Students receive supports as needed. I do my best to ensure students comprehend the content, not just have answers memorized. Dr. Black emphasized the importance of going beyond state standards and ensuring the Bible is infused. As a teacher, I want to my students to learn through a biblical lens, where the Bible and our school’s curriculum has become seamless. Yet, I want to encourage questions and critical thinking to ensure mastery of Biblical and curricular understanding.
