By seeing my students with eternity in view and not just who they are at the moment, and how can God use them while still in school.

The concepts from this lesson remind me that I know the fulfillment of salvation, but I can set out to “redeem the day” for God’s purpose. When possible, I can encourage young people to think of what God is calling them to do with their time, resources and energy, post-education.

Fulfillment of one’s God-given calling is not only for life on this earth but for eternity. I will have the perspective that students are not merely in my class to receive a Christian education, but also this lesson has reminded me that students can receive God’s call on their lives while they are in my class. I need to be aware of God’s Spirit moving and speaking to students, pausing to make room for the moving of His spirit, while being careful not to minimize what He speaks to them.

By creating open dialogues about how others prayed through sensitive spirit led decisions. How they can ask question, trust the Good Lord and pursue similar answers to the next end.

To help keep everything in perspective. Academics is important, yes, but God’s calling on my student’s lives is bigger than that.
