Reset and forgive. I appreciate that we should love like how god loves us. Showing that will forgiveness we can learn and grow for the experience.

The idea of getting a second chance to start off on an assessment that did not go well for the students or a lesson that did not go well is fulfilling. It shows that God is not rigid and can change our atmosphere for good even when we are not expecting it.

I like the idea of resetting. Sometimes it’s important to throw an assessment out or just start over. This allows for grace to be shown to the students and myself, and allows us a fresh start to better understand concepts the next time around.

I really liked how Dr. Black said that if the students are having an off day to stop what we are doing, take them outside to run around, then come back in and restart. Also, if an assessment didn’t go well, have them rip it up and start over.
As educators, we are called to teach students and help them to go out into the world and make a difference. Kids are more bold than adults are. If we can educate kids at a young age to talk about God and his redeeming qualities, we could bring so many more people to Christ.
