How will the concepts discussed in this lesson impact your teaching?

I think I usually have in mind preparing students for eternity. However, I am not always as attentive to preparing students to listen to God’s voice. Honestly, I am not sure how this will impact my teaching. I think I need to give this topic some more thought.

I need to help students make quicker connections to what careers actually look like. I need to show students the scripture that underlies my lesson plans and how I use the Bible to inform my actions. Basically I need to model what I do, and continue to get better at what I do.

I will be teaching the students that they have a purpose in life here on earth and for eternity. I need to prepare my students to make a difference because of their belief in Jesus.

The concepts discussed in this lesson have given me a deeper understanding/perspective on the big picture of my focus when teaching. I want to continuously have the mindset of what I am preparing my students for….their calling here on Earth and preparing them for eternity.

These concepts will help me teach my students to continue to listen to God through their “Chair time”. Find out what it is that God is wanting them to do to enhance his kingdom. I can teach redemption as well as show redemption in the classroom for their understanding.
