Deleted User03/06/2024 at 15:57When we encourage students to change their mindset from living on Earth to preparing for Heaven, they begin to change their disposition and priorities. They become a more engaged, thoughtful, and receptive student, because the lesson is focused on a permanent Heavenly goal verses a temporary life lesson that will be shorter on Earth.

Deleted User01/25/2024 at 11:29I loved Dr. Black’s comments on starting over if we have a bad day or the class did badly on a quiz. She suggested ripping up the paper and giving a cheer. I would not have thought of this. We have, however, taken an outdoor break.

Deleted User01/10/2024 at 08:09I like the idea of purposely adding into the lesson plans time for the students discover their calling. I think it is really important that they come to this on their own instead of being told what someone else thinks their calling is or should be.

Deleted User11/10/2023 at 15:25I am reminded that I need to encourage my seniors to not just apply to colleges, but seek His direction for their futures. They need to pray fervently, for the Lord to reveal what His plan is for their life after high school. Remind them to search and seek for what their purpose is.
