I like the idea of purposely adding into the lesson plans time for the students discover their calling. I think it is really important that they come to this on their own instead of being told what someone else thinks their calling is or should be.

Guiding the students to understand that even though we have a hope for an eternal future we also have a responsibility here on earth with what God has given us and the calling He has made on our lives.

I am reminded that I need to encourage my seniors to not just apply to colleges, but seek His direction for their futures. They need to pray fervently, for the Lord to reveal what His plan is for their life after high school. Remind them to search and seek for what their purpose is.

These encourage me on the days when everything goes wrong, that God can redeem that day. He is redeeming my time. Even though I may not get great monetary compensation, He will redeem the sacrifices I make.
