My overall teaching approach is a mix of traditional and process mastery. But, I do love a hands-on approach whenever possible, which is my nod to the constructivist theory. Although I guide students through the subject matter, I value the moments they discover and connect things for themselves. Students are more invested and interested in learning when they are challenged to find information and apply it practically. As a teacher, I am using the curriculum to guide the direction of my teaching, but I find supplemental ways such as hands-on projects and stations for students to process that information.

My approach to teaching would be a combination of the three. Sharing the information in a traditional sense, following or being guided by the state standards, and allowing for active, hands-on learning are all part of my daily routine.

I typically incorporate some of all three types in my classroom. It really all depends on the students and what they each require. Using a mix helps each student to learn the best overall.

Mostly process mastery. There is a pretty set path when it comes to learning Algebra, but I try to give as many options to the learners as possible.

My approach is a mix, as I have the structure and guide set up but give students ownership in their learning experience in discussions and partner/group work. This has worked well. To improve we can find ways to bring more flexibility where feasible.
