How would you respond to someone who says that Jesus Christ was a wonderful teacher but nothing more?

I would explain that my faith is built on the fact that Jesus was the son of God. I would ask them if they understand what faith is and ask them if they were willing to have that kind of faith in this fact and were they ready to know Jesus like I do.

I will ask if they believe the Bible is God’s word and can be trusted. Then I will show them from Isa 9:6 that Jesus Christ is more than a wonderful teacher.

I will first make clear with historical evidence that Christ did exist on earth about 2000 years ago. Then, I would present the gospel books to explain Christ’s existence at that time and who Christ really is according to the Bible, starting with the gospel books. That Christ was more than a teacher, he came as the Son of God and HE IS GOD.
