To say this is, ironically, to ignore his teaching.

I would say they were correct that He was a great teacher, but a great teacher would not lie of His origin. That He was sent by God to save the world.

Jesus was a great teacher, but for me He is the Son of God who died for my sins. Because of Him, I can have eternal life.

I would encourage them to research this. Our eternity depends on it. There is so much evidence to prove he is the son of God.

Jesus was the only person who ever claimed to be the Son of God. He is the only person who ever lived a perfect life. He is much more than a wonderful teacher. He is the only way to get to the Father. He is the savior
