Everything about Jesus Christ is wonderful. He is holistic, He is more than a teacher, He used analogy with explanation to clarify doubts from scripture to give meanings to the word of God. That’s why you are seeing Him as a teacher in the physical.

First, I would pray to God for them before confronting or referring to that statement. Then, respectfully point out that Jesus’ teachings were not just full of wise words, but were rooted in Him being the Son of God. Most especially, His teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection confirm His divinity, making Him more than just a wonderful teacher. If we disregard the fact that He is a great teacher and even more, one would have to ignore or explain away many aspects of His life and ministry.

I would tell them that according to my faith, Jesus Christ was the son of God and because of him, we can be saved and go to heaven. I believe in what the Bible has to say and that would be my proof.

He is the part of the trinity and He is before the beginning.

Jesus was more than a teacher. He is our Savior and the Son of Man. He was born of a virgin, lived among men but was without sin, died, and rose from the dead for our sins.
