To be honest, I like to share with students some of the struggles that I have faced and how I have turned to God and his word to see me through it. It reminds them that even people in authority over them have faced this stuff. However, they too can lean on God.

Following Jesus is hard, and it takes effort. There is so much out there that seeks to take our eyes off of Jesus. Having a steadfast prayer life where you are regularly communing with the Father and reading God’s word every day are two incredibly important ways to stay rooted in the way of Jesus and have the strength to stand against the challenges they will face.
