Even at a young age, students are experiencing struggles in their families and are in their communities. We discuss these struggles from a biblical perspective and pray together. We talk about how our feelings cannot always be trusted. We have emotions and that is healthy, but just because we are sad or upset about something doesn’t negate the fact that God is always with us. We can trust God to take care of us in the hard times. Ask God to give you wise friends or family members or someone you trust to help you in difficult situations.

I can guide them to build a strong personal relationship with the Lord, encourage study and memorization of the Word, and teach them the value of prayer in all situations.

Share with them the stories of the Bible of those who – with God’s help – overcame the world and were successful. Take the lesson learned and ask them how this could be applied to today.
Impress upon my students that God is always faithful but will never do things as we think he will. That God’s ways are not our ways and that when we can’t see the path He is leading us on, that’s when we must trust the most.

I would encourage them to have and maintain a relationship with Jesus Christ. The struggles of life are real. If they do not have the foundation with Jesus Christ , they are likely to drift with each new doctrine they hear, or become totally frustrated and confused. With conflicts they will face.
