I must always bring the topic back to how to complete our God-given purpose which is to glorify our Creator and create His goodness in the people he sends us to. I can ask students lots of why questions. This will focus their attention on the importance of having pure motivations, the kind that earn for us eternal rewards.
Another practical preparation I can give my students is to teach them to pray. They must develop an intimate communication with their loving Father that will not only carry them through many hardships but also empower them to intercede in situations that warrant a miracle. To pray without ceasing is the key to living life in the Spirit the way He ordained for us.

Not only do I teach my subject matter and communicate truth, I look for opportunities to share personal testimonies about ways God has taught me what I am attempting to teach them.
