It is vital for teachers to impart not just knowledge and facts, but a moral and biblical basis for a worldview that is contrary to the secular worldview so prevalent in education and business. I must always bring the topic back to how to complete our God-given purpose which is to glorify our Creator and create His goodness in the people he sends us to. I can ask students lots of why questions. This will focus their attention on the importance of having pure motivations, the kind that earn for us eternal rewards.
Another practical preparation I can give my students is to teach them to pray. They must develop an intimate communication with their loving Father that will not only carry them through many hardships but also empower them to intercede in situations that warrant a miracle. To pray without ceasing is the key to living life in the Spirit the way He ordained for us.

Integrating biblical worldview through the Scripture is one way to do this because students will be more equipped to face the world.

Being transparent and open with students is important to helping equip them for future service to the Lord. Not only do I teach my subject matter and communicate truth, I look for opportunities to share personal testimonies about ways God has taught me what I am attempting to teach them.

I can continue integrating biblical truths in their everyday lives so that they are understanding how to defend the faith, even at a second grade level. I desire to teach them to be lifelong learners of God’s Word and not just repeat back to me what I have taught them, but think through and really claim God’s truths as their own.
