Our courses teach critical thinking skills and challenge student to verbalize and demonstrate their problem-solving process. The rigorous scope and sequence prepares student for upper-level coursework in high school and beyond. These skills will help students to persevere when they face the struggles in the world.

To help them not rely on emotions or the stress of current situation and to help them lean in on God and his word.

I will keep being their teacher forever even though they are not in my classroom anymore, I will be always reachable for any advice or support. I will encourage them to read and study the scripture and find its application in their everyday life.

By finding a biblical story that is related to each topic that I will teach, from there I use a verse as our memory verse for that topic. In doing so, I am teaching them how to memorize the bible so that in the future when they are struggling in life, those passages will be of a good help. I can also use a situation whereby a particular practical fails to work due to one thing or the other, I can use that to make them understand that in this life we are living we can not live without facing challenges, but when it comes, God is with us and he will see us through. They Just have to have faith in Jesus.

One way to help students prepare for struggles they may face is to keep open communication with them. Allowing them to voice their ideas helps you to gain a relationship where you can guide them in truth. Another way is to continually share scripture and how it can be helpful during hard times.
