Identify one or two practices you could implement to further nurture your students.

I want to make a better space that allows my students to know that they can come to me for help. I don’t expect them to know everything, I don’t expect that my lessons are perfectly taught, I want them to ask for help! But I don’t know if I’ve created a space that allows them to do that comfortably. I will work on implementing this!

I need to be more intentional with relationship. Greeting my students, recognizing them, and being more relational.

Making time at the beginning of the day to individually recognize each student and to do this throughout the day is a great way to show each student that they are loved and appreciated.

Write out notes to students who are going above and beyond or are showing improvement.

To further nurture my students, I could take more time with them, and focus on connecting more individually with them. Currently I try to do this in the large classroom setting, but this is at times difficult, yet I try to be consistent with it. I feel that this is important.
