I could make time to get to know more about their individual hobbies and interests outside of school and then talk with them about these things from time to time.

I could help them overcome weaknesses in subject areas I teach by working with them outside of course time, and, or giving them specific assignments that will help them to overcome their challenges.

I would like to leave notes or Bible verses to nurture my students.

I see students K-12. I feel like it’s much easier to nurture K-5 students. When they hit middle school, nurturing looks different and this is an area I am still looking to develop. These students still have big feelings and emotions and it’s important to give them a chance to voice these.

I would always spend that quality time to make the difficult child feel special. I will always take the necessary time to be well prepared.
