I have a open block during one of the lunch periods. That could be an excellent opportunity to eat lunch with the seniors and get to know them a little bit better. We are also planning on starting a Bible study for the senior guys soon. I could help facilitate that.

I could create time during recess or lunch to be available for students to come and talk to me about whatever they need to talk about.

I am going to reward my students by making different flavors of Mexican fresh waters and share with them how to make them.

A practice I could implement would be to sit and eat lunch with students.

This year I plan to create a classroom environment of J.O.Y. Jesus first, others second, and you last. I want to nurture them by really helping them learn how to love Jesus and others more than self. One area our school struggles is with competing for the highest grade. I want to move away from that and remind them they should be loving others more than themselves and not asking other students how they did to compete. Instead I would like them to spend more time loving learning and encouraging each other throughout the process.
