I currently use fun greetings students can choose as they enter our classroom every morning. I could incorporate some fun goodbyes as well.
I could incorporate prayer at the end of the day, thanking God for all we have learned, academically and spiritually, and asking him to help each student and their families as they leave for the day.

I would like to spend more time with my students. I do cherish my personal time, but I also want to build relationships with my students. I struggle with balancing between the two, so I tend to lean more on not engaging in relationship than engaging in too much relationship.

My biggest failure is consistency and follow through when it comes to discipline. I am seeking to nurture this element of my Christian teaching management.

I am going to ask my students to look for statistics in the news so we can discuss them in a purely math setting. I am also going to incorporate personal finance into my biblical integration. The Bible is full of great personal finance lessons and I would like to teach my students these lessons rather than have them learn the hard way as I did.

I would like to spend time with my students outside of the classroom. I like the idea of sitting down with my students at lunch… I would also like to attend a sport event or performance so they can see that I am invested in them more than just academically. I would love to look for ways to encourage and praise students who are making the right choices, especially if they struggled with a certain behavior that needed correction.
