Keeping students aware of certain issues and big-picture debates of society is a primary preparation for the attacks they will face. We don’t want to make the world or secular universities out to be a “boogie man” and give students vague warnings about all the horrible things they teach and prop up. Giving them clear, specific examples (that are age-appropriate) will show them the reality of what other kids are being exposed to.

First give them a good foundation. Give them the practice of defending their faith. Give examples and have them identify what is a biblical worldview and what is not.

Thy Word have I hid in my heart! Hid the Word of God in their hearts and minds.

By teaching the word of God, prepare them for those attacks.

Make sure I am always teaching my students the word of God. Always help prepare them for those attacks and do what I can to always know they are hearing the word of God.
