To prepare students for attacks on their faith we can first make them aware that attacks are bound to come. And, that they come often subversively, not always in up-front ways. R
This can happen through subtleties of friendships, or a slight veering from truth that sets off course about who Jesus is and what he has done for us.
Memorizing the Word is first defense, discussing how that Word can be bent out of shape to mean what it does not to justify a different mindset.

One way you can help prepare students for attacks on their faith would be allowing them to compare the biblical worldview in your lessons with the cultural worldview, discussing with them the differences they see. I love the idea of bringing in contemporary literature and comparing that with the Bible.

Encouraging open dialogue, teaching critical thinking skills, and fostering a respectful environment for discussing different perspectives are some ways to help students navigate challenges to their beliefs.

One way we can prepare our students for attacks on their Christian faith to reaffirm what they believe and why they believe it. We need to prepare them that attacks will happen, but they are strong enough to overcome them.

I really liked the professor’s idea of bringing in newspapers or other literature students will see and comparing it to the Bible. Teaching them how to find the answers is invaluable.
