My opinion is the single most powerful weapon we have to stand strong against enemy attacks is the Word of God. Teaching students to “hide it in their hearts”, knowing “it will not return void” gives me peace. The memorization and understanding Scriptural truth is providing them with a defense, as well as an offense when necessary.

One way to help prepare our students for attacks on their Christian faith is to let them know their faith will be attacked and read with them Colossians 2:6-8. Discuss with the students that there is deception and that we should always set the word of God as the standard of whole truth.
Another way to help prepare students is to select certain news stories that attack the Christian worldview and discuss with students with support from Scripture.
