We should be very intentional to have the Christian truths embedded in their minds so that when face deceitful statements or situations that will challenge them they will be able to have a firm stand.

This is why it is important to have scripture be so prevalent in a Christian classroom-so the students have ways to prepare for attack. This way they have scripture to back up when attacks happen and keep them grounded in the Word.

One of the most important ways that Christians can respond is pointed out in the lecture, and that is not to respond in anger. Jesus showed us numerous examples of this. Responding in anger will only serve to help the accusers case and will make the situation volatile. Second, knowing the Bible and trusting in God’s word and believing in God’s truth will strengthen the student’s resolve and will give then knowledge that can counteract any attack. Other ways that can help Christians of all ages is by preparing ahead of time, knowing that attacks will happen. and by praying for God’s strength and guidance during such difficult times.

Finding good apologetic materials that are coherent with the lesson and with God’s word makes for a very useful strategy to give necessary preparation. It also helps to teach the attacks on Christian faith so that the student is not shocked when such attacks are used on them.

Sometimes adults’ can create an idea (without even meaning it) in children’s heads that they do not make mistakes- therefore children may feel like they cannot relate to their parents or teachers when they are under attack. Being honest and relatable I feel can help students be vulnerable when they are struggling. And of course help the students learn the truths of the Bible to equip them for when they struggle.
