To be honest, my first reaction is to avoid it. But if I must confront for the better of the body, I do so in love.

I haven’t come across anyone that openly disagrees with me to my face. Honesfly I signed up here so that i could argue with anyone about Our Lord

I haven’t been personally confronted by someone teaching false doctrine. However, if I am, I would hope that I would have enough faith and strength to try and correct them and share my beliefs with them.

A false teacher must be confronted with the truth. To be that person that confronts a false teacher you must be grounded in scripture and in your personal faith. If the false teacher has ears to hear then he can be corrected, however a false teacher will most likely be proud and aggressive with his stand. An important point is to protect the immature believer not to be taken in by a false teacher.

I am not usually confrontational with people but when dealing with a false teacher it is important to have hidden God’s Word in your heart so that you can respond with scripture (just like Jesus did with Satan in the desert). Also, it would be helpful to have another Christian alongside you!
