Recognize them for what they are, confront them, and proceed in Love to correct them.

If I can recognize that it is false, I will not careful not to continue in his presence. I will definitely not recommend anyone to listen to him.
Many years ago, I encountered such a dubious character. He was hosted by one of the churches to speak in my city, and people from a few churches, including me, were invited to listen to his prophecies. He began to talk at length about his exotic visions or dreams of heaven and hell, and said that he even published a pictorial book illustrating those ‘revelations’. At the same time, he was very arrogant at the dinner we hosted for him after Part 1 of his talk. He grumbled that he wasn’t housed in a star hotel, and exited from the dinner prematurely. Both his teachings and character left much to be desired. The leaders amongst us discretely cautioned the leader of the church which invited him. I did not proceed to attend Part 2 of his talk. I believe this man was never invited again to our city. -
You rebuke them. Any teaching that contradicts what God teaches is false doctrine

Gently and lovingly come back to scripture and point all its truth
